I know there's a way, deep down in my soul
A way we can fix what is wrong in our world
I know there's a light, there's a glimmer of hope
But it's just out of reach at the moment you know
I feel a constant ache in the bottom of my heart
And a longing to be more than who I was born
And a desperate search for a better home
For a child too young to know
And the odds are stacked against
I know that there's hatred, I know it runs deep
It's a part of the system we must never give in to
And when times get tough, well I need you to know
You'll never be facing the world on your own
I feel a constant ache in the bottom of my heart
And a need to belong before I am gone
And in the back of my mind, I know something isn't right
So I need you to understand
We are the voiceless
We are the third class
We are the desperate
We are the damned
We are the outcast
We've been pushed back
We're the beaten down parts of a second chance
There's a constant ache in the bottom of my heart
A constant ache in the bottom of my heart
A constant ache in the bottom of my heart
A constant ache in the bottom of my heart
I feel a constant ache in the bottom of my heart
And a longing to be more than who I was born
And a desperate search for a better home
For a child too young to know
And the odds are stacked against

You act like it's no problem when you lie and when you cheat
And you never fucking listen so we shout it in the streets and
You smear us in your papers or you crush us with police but we all know
Yeah we all know
You think you're oh so different but I know you're all the same
There's a million starving children in a country with your name on
And everything you've broken well you say that we're to blame
Like we should be ashamed, and be afraid
But we still sing (we still fight)
We won't run
We survive (we still fight)
We're not done
Not by a long shot
You say that we're a threat and you diminish our beliefs
Like a fair and just society is completely out of reach
And you say that there's no money on that magic money tree
But we all know, where it all goes.
You smile and you laugh like you think it's a game
But the whole fucking system's in need of a change
And while liars and racists are given the stage you're still not afraid
To shift the blame.
But we still sing (we still fight)
We won't run
We survive (we still fight)
We're not done
Not by a long shot

Since The War Started
03:04
|
|||
7 days have passed, since the war started
Yet to hear the sound of guns
Through the pride of a nation, but underfunded
We're told we'll overcome
And I'm not even convinced we'll see
Any money for armour that we didn't crowd fund
But when nobody's listening
then we fear the worst's yet to come
30 days have passed, since the war started
Some of us will not return
Through a cloud of lies and empty words
Clearly showing no concern
And none of us are quite sure we'll be
Quite as safe as we could've been all along
And the rest of the world is watching
Wondering what's going wrong
40 days have passed, since the war started
Many sick and old have died
And the armour, they promised long ago
Somehow still has not arrived
50 days have passed, and I have had
3 more emails this morning, just to say
3 more people I knew died on the weekend
Not forgotten, but betrayed
And on the front lines, all I see are
Mothers, fathers, children, risk their lives
Sacrificial, unprotected heroes
But expendable in their eyes
And every Thursday I hear the thunder
And every Friday I hear the lies
And every single second hypocrisy
Grows behind a vacous smile

A Million Whispers
00:44
|
|||
Broken and disillusioned
We won't kneel down and beg
To start a revolution
It only takes one breath
And we can stand up proud, and we can raise our voices loud
Hear a million whispers - turn into a shout
And if we work together, we can hold our ground
And if we don't back down, we will be heard again and again and again and again and again and again and again.

Let the anger into your heart
You're gonna need it to fight
We can fuel it from the ashes of
the life we had to leave behind
Burn the memories into your mind
In case you ever forget
Until the moment you take your last breath
Until there's nothing left
Let the anger into your heart
(rise again, rise again)
Let the anger into your heart
(rise again, rise again)
Let the anger into your heart
(rise again, rise again)
Let the anger into your heart
(rise again, rise again)
Give away a part of your soul
For the ones who need it more
It doesn't matter if it's damaged or some
Parts are ripped and torn
Trade in the rest of your life
For what we'll get in return
And in this moment you can burn as bright as
Bright as you ever burned
Let the anger into your heart
(rise again, rise again)
Let the anger into your heart
(rise again, rise again)
Let the anger into your heart
(rise again, rise again)
Let the anger into your heart
(rise again, rise again)

Gwrandewch nawr plant ifanc, rhaid i chi glywed stori hon.
Mae'n amser i chi dysgu'r ffeithiau mwyaf pwysig y byd.
Ar draws y wlad ni'n galw gartref, mae 'na bobl greulon
sy'n tyfu tew a mwy cyfoethog gan ledu celwyddau
Rhaid i chi gofio
Fydd neb, fydd neb, yn y llywodraeth, o'ch gwlad
Rhoi anghenion chi, neu'r anghenion fi, yn uwch na eu buddiannau
Edrychwch nawr, plantos bach, mae hyn digwydd o'ch cwmpas
Mae'r cyfle i chi newid yr agweddau o deulu a ffrindiau chi â
Neges fach i wneud gwahaniaeth, a bywyd gwell i ni
A chamau bach i greu dyfodol hoffwn i weld, i chi
Rhaid i chi gofio
Fydd neb, fydd neb, yn y llywodraeth, o'ch gwlad
Rhoi anghenion chi, neu'r anghenion fi, yn uwch na eu buddiannau
Translation:
Listen now, young children, you must hear this story
It's time for you to learn the most important facts in the world
Across the land that we call home, there are cruel people
Who grow fat and more wealthy by spreading lies
You have to remember
No one, no one, in the government of your land
Will put your needs, or my needs, above their own interests
Look now, little children, this is happening around you
There is an opportunity for you to change the attitudes of your family and friends
With a small message to make a different, and a better life for us
And small steps to create a future I would like to see for you
You have to remember
No one, no one, in the government of your land
Will put your needs, or my needs, above their own interests

Feels Like Home
02:35
|
|||
We never sought responsibility
We never asked to see things differently
But we always felt an empathy, an emptiness inside
In this cruel and ruined society, we're damned to be alive
And we can see the end of the world that we know
And we can sit here hand in hand and watch it burn
And we can shape the ashes to a world of our own
And when i see it in my heart - it feels like home
We aren't fighting for ourselves alone
And if you're with us then you're never really on your own
There's a million minds we'll never change, the brainwashed status quo
And even if we build a better world, they'll never wanna go
But we can see the end of the world we were sold
Where bigotry and greed are placed upon a throne
And we can sense the end of the road, we can
hear the death knell, as our numbers they grow, we can
stand, we can fight, without fear in our hearts, we can
whisper or scream from the morning til night, we can
challenge oppression or take to the streets, and it
all makes a difference, we give what we can, and we
never give up, and we never back down,
in the dark, in the rain, in the cold empty towns
While there's breath in our lungs, while there's blood in our veins
we will never stop fighting and striving for change
'Cos we can see the end of the world that we know
And we'll be singing arm in arm as it burns
And then we'll shape the ashes to a world of our own
And when i see it in my heart - it feels like home
